Hi, I'm Avirup Basu — a technologist, founder, and industrial innovation enthusiast based in India. I serve as an Associate Principal Engineer at P360, where I design and develop SaaS products like Swittons and Zing. These products transform enterprise workflows and real-time communication through smart devices and software platforms.
I'm also the Founder of Blackspektro, where we specialise in industrial IoT and AI solutions for manufacturing. Our focus is enabling digital transformation from the factory floor to the cloud.
Drawing on over 9 years of experience in cloud systems, and event-driven architectures and industrial and commercial IoT, I build scalable, resilient platforms that deliver real value in complex environments.
Outside of my core work, I organize Google Developer Group (GDG) Siliguri, where I mentor and engage with the tech community through meetups, hackathons, and workshops.
When I’m not immersed in product or code, you’ll find me out cycling, capturing moments through photography and videography, rallying for a game of tennis, or chasing adrenaline through adventure sports. I believe a sharp mind needs a spirited life.
